Our stakeholder management process aims to identify and address concerns, complaints, and grievances in a timely and transparent manner. The following policy outlines our approach to stakeholder grievance redress:
Objectives
- Provide stakeholders with a platform to raise concerns, complaints, and grievances.
- Ensure clear assignment of responsibilities within Anthesis SA for managing the stakeholder grievance redress process.
- Address concerns, complaints, and grievances in a predictable, accessible, transparent, and credible manner.
- Deliver fair and equitable outcomes while maintaining accountability and efficiency.
- Promote trust between all parties involved.
- Enable systematic identification of emerging issues and trends to facilitate corrective action and pre-emptive engagement.
- Hold various teams within Anthesis SA accountable for managing social impacts and other externalities.
Process
- Provide stakeholders with a platform to raise concerns, complaints, and grievances.
- Upon receipt, the grievance will be assigned to the appropriate team within Anthesis SA for investigation and resolution.
- The investigation will be conducted promptly, with regular updates provided to the grievant or complainant regarding the progress.
- Once the investigation is completed, the outcome will be communicated to the grievant or complainant, outlining the actions taken to address their concerns and/or assuring them of future preventative measures.
- The grievance will be considered resolved and closed once the outcome of the investigation is communicated satisfactorily.
- Continuous improvement initiatives will be implemented based on lessons learned and stakeholder input to enhance our ability to address concerns and maintain positive relationships.
- Regular reporting of stakeholder’s concerns, complaints, or grievances will be shared with management and the external certification process.
