If your organisation aims to be 100% renewable and achieve zero emissions, you can reach this milestone by acquiring Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs) that match your non-renewable electricity consumption for the year.
By doing so, when calculating the Scope 2 emissions of your greenhouse gas inventory, your electricity consumption will be considered 100% renewable and have zero emissions.
This status is verified by the redemption of the EACs you have procured.
