Victoria Evans

Victoria Evans leads GHG Accounting Services in the Climate Practice for the North America region, supporting clients to prepare verifiable greenhouse gas inventories for scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions. to apply in reporting, setting GHG emissions reduction targets, and for carbon management. In her over 25 years’ experience developing GHG inventories and climate mitigation plans she has supported a diverse set of clients spanning the chemical, oil & gas, manufacturing, energy, media, consumer electronics, water utility and transportation sectors.

She is committed to helping clients be successful in directly capitalising upon their opportunities to cost effectively utilise innovative technology and reduce/remove GHG emissions. Prior to joining Anthesis Victoria served as the climate change and GHG practice lead at three major environmental consulting firms. This work involved directing and advising teams to support sustainability plans, carbon reduction strategies, carbon offset project plans, life cycle analyses, verifiable GHG inventories and GHG reporting.

 Her particular expertise is in renewable energy, including RNG, biogas, biomass, biochar, biofuels and hydrogen and sustainable infrastructure. In addition, she has experience working on Nature Based Solutions projects including wetland enhancement with horizontal levees, and on carbon offset projects including for rice cultivation and biochar. Over the extent of her career, she has been engaged in projects in Hong Kong, China, Thailand, Brazil, Turkey, Chile, Argentina Eritrea, South Africa, Taiwan, Italy, France, Finland, Sweden and England.

Victoria has a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Natural Resources from the University of Michigan and is based in northern California.
