Expertise
Sandra is currently Director of environmental education centres and citizen participation projects at Anthesis. These are projects that have an important social component, and whose objective is to raise awareness and empower citizens to become active agents in society.
Sandra has worked in the Education team at Anthesis since 2005, when she graduated with a degree in environmental sciences and she is proud to have worked in the same company since then. Initially, Sandra developed educator tasks in different programmes and later moved on to coordinating and managing the Education service area.
She has participated in the opening of two environmental education facilities in Barcelona, handling the end-to-end management of the project, developing them together with the relevant technical personnel in each case. She has also designed educational activities such as exhibitions and other educational resources and is passionate about environmental projects with a social component and that contribute to transforming people and the surrounding environment.
Sandra has a degree is in environmental sciences and social pedagogue. Additionally, she has a postgraduate degree in environmental communication and a Master’s degree in education and rural development, which is closely linked to Education for Sustainable Development.
