A chemical engineer by training, based between Miami and New York City, Lemis is a Director and the Lead for the Product Sustainability Service Line. Lemis has worked in the consumer goods industry for more than a decade. At P&G, he led Front End Formulation Development for cosmetics, inclusive of mascaras and lipsticks; he participated in paraben substitution projects, scaling up plant-derived squalene and creating new lower-footprint product architectures.
He led the Cosmetics Innovation team for the Americas at L’Oréal, where he patented several new consumer-centric technologies, launched the first pouch foundation, which saved 70% plastic, and commercialised new products in an array of categories.
