Janine Berger

Janine Berger is a Senior Consultant with Anthesis’ Operations & Supply Chain team. She is based in Washington, DC. In her role, Janine supports CPG and retail, pharmaceutical, and technology clients with designing and implementing supply chain strategies and supplier engagement programs to deliver on ambitious climate, social, and nature goals.

Prior to joining Anthesis, she led Environmental Compliance and Climate Risk Management for Chemonics International’s Health Supply Chain business line, which included the $10 billion USAID GHSC-PSM project—a procurement, warehousing and distribution, and technical assistance mechanism to ensure delivery of life saving medicines and diagnostic equipment to 60+ USAID partner countries. Before Chemonics, Janine worked at The Cadmus Group supporting USAID Bureau and Mission Environmental Officers with policy development, training for staff and partner organizations, and implementation in line with NEPA.

Janine holds a B.A. in International Studies from American University. More recently she obtained a Corporate Sustainability Executive Certificate from the NYU Stern School of Business, and she is GRI certified.
