Anthesis is proud to announce the participation of Damian Regan in a high-level panel discussion at the UNCTAD Regional Partnership for the Promotion of Sustainability Reporting in Gulf States and Neighbouring Countries 2025. The event takes place during the prestigious AIM Congress 2025, held in Abu Dhabi from April 7–9.

With over 60 ministers, central bank governors, presidents, and leading figures from global financial markets converging at AIM Congress this year, the event reinforces the UAE’s pivotal role on the global investment map. As part of this major international gathering, the UNCTAD-sponsored sustainability reporting forum is emerging as a cornerstone for regulatory dialogue in the region.

Damian will speak on Session 2: Practical Implementation of Sustainability Reporting: Practitioners’ Perspectives, sharing real-world insights on how companies can effectively meet rising regulatory expectations. With sustainability reporting becoming increasingly mandatory across the Middle East, the panel will explore:

• Practical steps and tools to develop effective sustainability reports
• Tailored data collection and reporting metrics aligned with GCC priorities
• The role of digital technologies in simplifying and scaling sustainability reporting processes

This session will be a critical platform for engaging with regional regulators and key stakeholders on the future of reporting standards in the Gulf, especially as the region moves towards widespread adoption of ISSB-aligned frameworks.
