The CSDDD, or Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive, is a European Union directive that will require companies to conduct due diligence on their supply chains to identify and mitigate potential human rights and environmental impacts.

The European Union Council formally adopted the CSDDD on May 24, 2024. The CSDDD will now be published in the official journal of the EU and will enter into force.

Member states will have two years to implement the regulations and administrative procedures to comply with this legislation.  Learn what to expect and how to prepare in this brief guide.
