Delivering Technical Due Diligence Study for CNG Foresight

Situation

CNG Foresight was looking to validate the proposed station design and technical aspects of a £100m+ framework to build a portfolio of bio CNG (biomethane) fuelling stations across the UK. These stations would have the capacity to fuel up to 450 vehicles per day via eight vehicle dispensers and one trailer loading dispenser.

Solution

Anthesis was commissioned to support CNG Foresight to deliver:

• Review of proposed station design in terms of site layout and access, process equipment and sizing, health & safety.
• Review of grid connection solutions and agreements.
• Review of technical input to financial model.
• Review of technical schedules forming part of the EPC contract.
• Planning and environmental assessment.

Impact

Anthesis confirmed suitability of the proposed technical solution to meet the expected project outcomes. Recommendations made on some technical of EPC contract to ensure scope, performance and testing aligned with the project overall requirements.
