The Situation

Envea is a French company specialising in providing environmental management solutions. It is a leading company in the field, whose clients include governments and the IPCC. The company is required to comply with the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) for FY 2025 reporting in 2026.

Envea was pursuing its sustainability journey. Following participation in Carlyle’s ESG diagnostic program, Envea was looking to embed ESG more formally across the business and prepare for the reporting requirements of the CSRD.​
