Situation

Business teams downloaded Excel files from transactional systems and sent them to the Sustainability team, which processed the files through pivot tables and manually consolidated the data into Excel templates. This labor-intensive process yielded results only annually and with a high margin of error.

Collecting both quantitative and qualitative data from multiple sources and varying frequencies required a robust system to efficiently manage the data’s volume and diversity.

We configured a streamlined process to gather data from 52 production plants across 32 companies within 8 distinct business units. The collected data was then consolidated at the business group level, forming the foundation for the annual stakeholder report. Additionally, detailed monthly data on each indicator was gathered to facilitate informed decision-making at the plant, company, and business group levels.
