Impact
Anthesis has supported Palatine Private Equity to roll out Carbon Literacy training across its portfolio of companies as a step to its commitment to generate positive ESG impact.
Situation
Palatine is the first private equity house in the UK to put its full portfolio through the internationally-recognised training, underlining its 10-year leadership in integrating ESG into its portfolio to accelerate business growth sustainably.
Solution
Established by the Manchester-headquartered Carbon Literacy Project, Carbon Literacy training provides organisations with an awareness of the climate-related costs and impacts of their activities and the ability and motivation to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
In total, Anthesis delivered training to 87 senior individuals from Palatine and its portfolio companies across three days to coincide with Earth Day 2021 on 22nd April.
Impact
Anthesis delivered the training as one of the Carbon Literacy Project’s accredited delivery partners. The workshops focused on the business importance of a transition to a sustainable future by empowering management teams with the knowledge and tools to make impactful change in their businesses.
The Carbon Literacy Project is globally unique and was recognised by the UN at COP21, in Paris, where it was awarded as a TAP100 – one of 100 worldwide Transformative Action Programs.
