A global manufacturer of diagnostic healthcare products needed a reliable way to track and calculate emissions across its worldwide facilities. Their manual, spreadsheet-based process was time-intensive, inconsistent, and made it difficult to identify emissions hotspots or meet regulatory requirements. To address this, they partnered with Anthesis to streamline emissions tracking and improve sustainability insights.
In doing so, our client gained a complete insight into the source and quantity of emissions and consequentially knew key areas to focus on reduction strategies. Additionally, they are able to substantiate claims needed to meet regulatory requirements.

By using Anthesis RouteZero, the organisation implemented a centralised platform to streamline data collection and calculation standardisation. The tool leverages a wide range of emissions factor databases, including those from US EPA, DEFRA, IEA, and others, enabling accurate and regionally tailored emissions calculations while simplifying integration across various geographies and providing full transparency.

Impacts of the Project
By implementing Antheiss RouteZero as their primary tool for measuring and calculating emissions, the diagnostic healthcare manufacturer was able to reliably collect and standardise the required data for emissions calculations across their global sites which had differing regional data availability, used local formats, and was inconsistent in quality.
