Solutions
Situation
We conducted a social impact assessment to evaluate a social business program for a multinational frozen food company in Morocco. The program grows and processes potatoes to be sold in the local shop network of the country, creating jobs for poor rural families.
Solution
As part of our Social Impact Assessment and Measurement service, we employed a social return on investment (SROI) methodology to identify the potential for societal impact beyond boundaries of farming activities.
Impact
Based on our assessment and use of SROI methodology, evidence of success in achieving key outcomes were reported through proxy indicators. We determined that for every 1 Dirham invested, 2.82 Dirhams were generated in social value.
