Alan Middleton

Alan Middleton is an Operating Executive focused on the technology and business services sectors. He is based in London. Currently, Mr. Middleton is a non-executive director of Anthesis as well as PA Consulting Group.

A career consultant, Mr. Middleton’s client focus is on the business services and financial services sectors, specialising in innovation and strategy delivery.  Over his career, he has consulted for 400 client organisations and operated in every major geography.  He served for fifteen years as Chief Executive Officer and Board member of PA Consulting, leading the firm through Carlyle’s investment in 2016 until the successful exit to Jacobs Engineering in 2021.

Mr. Middleton studied at Edinburgh University and Stanford and is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology.
