Anthesis continues its rapid growth with fifth acquisition, Media4Change (UK) Ltd (M4C)

Anthesis Group has acquired sustainability strategy and communications consultancy M4C, with its fifth acquisition in 14 months.

The acquisition of M4C boosts Anthesis Group’s strategic and communications capability, especially in the growing reporting market, where drivers including the Global Reporting Initiative are turning reporting into an essential component of sustainable business. M4C currently supports companies including Colas UK, Canon Europe, Brother UK and a diverse group of UK and global businesses.

The Anthesis Group aims to ‘create business value for a better world’ by reducing business risk, increasing resilience, growing sales and profit generation, and through the delivery of truly sustainable organisations, also strengthen brands and reputations.  Founded in 2013, the Group now has more than 100 consultants in seven countries across UK, Europe, USA, Asia and the Middle East, and aims to be the leading global sustainability specialist.

In the past year Anthesis has acquired sustainability consultancies Best Foot Forward, UMR, Caleb, SecondNature and now M4C – giving it a strong global presence which sets it apart from the large multi-disciplinary firms where sustainability is non-core, and from the small niche providers.  Anthesis have realised 50% of their growth from acquisitions and 50% from organic growth.
