Anthesis-Caleb hosts clients’ knowledge exchange meeting in Baltimore

Anthesis-Caleb held their latest US clients’ knowledge exchange meeting in Baltimore, Maryland last week.  A number of current clients attended in order to receive an update on the latest developments in REACH, US Global Harmonized System (GHS) implementation (via Hazcom 2012) and wider global regulatory trends in the chemicals sector. There was particular interest in the implications for Safety Data Sheet requirements in both the US and Europe, as well as a recognition of the need to start planning for 2018 REACH registrations.

The meeting was hosted at the Baltimore offices of Hughes Associates, a current partner to Anthesis-Caleb in the important areas of alternative assessment and substitution strategy development and implementation. These areas are likely to become much more significant in the future as the sustainable chemistry momentum builds and market pressures increase as a consequence – a trend many of our US clients are already seeing.
