Summary of Role: The Marketing Manager will have a varied role with plenty to excite and challenge. You will take an active role in supporting the delivery of the Group’s marketing strategy, as well as leading on and executing on the delivery of the marketing needs for the North America business.   Your work will involve supporting the implementation of marketing campaigns to researching competitor activity, implementing marketing strategies, supporting bid preparation, facilitate, coordinating the dissemination of press releases and related materials to press and media contacts and supporting web and social media outreach. The job is full of variety, and you will need to be able to turn your hand to a range of tasks across many jurisdictions.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Support the execution of the company’s marketing strategy, responding to Global Head of Marketing’s requirements and working with Business Development (BD) teams and regional management teams in the global business;
  • Work with the North American leadership team and the Global Head of Marketing to define the core campaigns for the North America business;
  • Lead and support on the development and implementation of campaigns, content and broader marketing activity
  • Create and execute on of sales-oriented promotional campaigns, primarily through email marketing;
  • Produce campaign-related content as well as contributing to the Group’s content development strategy;
  • Support the release of PR and related content where applicable;
  • Attend and support networking events;
  • Support the preparation of bids;
  • Support the preparation and management of marketing material;
  • Support client projects where there is a requirement for marketing/comms input.
  • Assist in the data upload, content management, development and maintenance of the internal database platform at a North America level (i.e. Kimble);

Preferred Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with some copywriting experience, including the ability to identify tone of voice;
  • Understanding and experience in the use of a range of marketing techniques and concepts;
  • Experience utilizing marketing analytics to drive campaign engagement and ROI.
  • Graphics and infographics production skills and experience of using software packages such as, for example, Corel, Serif, Piktochart etc.
  • An understanding of website content management systems and how to post and manage content on a daily basis;
  • Ability to respond positively to pressure and take a flexible approach to a dynamic, fast moving and changing work environment;
  • Work well with a wide range of people on a global basis, and may sometimes require flexibility for operating across time zones;
  • Supporting the delivery of Group wide strategic marketing activities
  • Organised and methodical, with the ability to work with the Global Head of Marketing to prioritise tasks and assignments;
  • Able to support co-creation and briefings to artwork and related designers and software/web design engineers;
  • Proactive with the ability and confidence to use initiative;
  • Well presented with a professional manner to act as a brand ambassador which flexes and is appropriate for the specific client environment and circumstances;

You are likely to have at least 3-5 years of relevant post college experience and have a marketing background. Experience in the Sustainability field is preferred.

Senior Analyst

Summary of role: Anthesis, a rapidly growing global sustainability consultancy, is looking for a Senior Analyst to join the business.  This will be a new role to support our growing Analytics team and will report directly to the Analytics Practice Leaders.

As a Senior Analyst, you will work with a small, agile, growing team that brings innovative sustainability solutions to market in support of our global consulting offerings. Your projects and clients will span across a diverse set of industries and require engagement with clients, and their suppliers, around the world.

Your responsibilities will include:

 Project management and delivery:

  • Provide clients with insight into sustainability topics impacting their operations, supply chain, and other aspects of their business
  • Create dynamic and innovative Analytics deliverables, e.g. dashboards, spreadsheets and reports, with exceptional intuitiveness and ease of use
  • Ensure data collection & analysis of environmental metrics are maintained and streamlined to influence business decisions
  • Communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders
  • Lead the project planning and delivery aspects of a new or existing sustainability Analytics projects
  • Develop relationships with client’s key decision‐makers

Product and service development:

  • Work with the Analytics team to further the development of the company’s innovative processes & tools to collect, analyze, and visualize sustainability metrics
  • Create frameworks to integrate data sets from disparate sources that can be updated periodically
  • Work with clients and the internal Analytics team to specify innovative business-facing data collection and analytics tools
  • Work with internal project management to grow skills and to ensure that consistency and quality is delivered across projects delivered within the program
  • Play a full part in the Anthesis team including supporting colleagues in all areas of the business

 Requirements

 The ideal applicant must be able to demonstrate excellent technical skills, an entrepreneurial attitude and be highly motivated.

 Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in mathematics, engineering, science, economics or related field or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 to 10 years of experience quantifying, tracking, and mitigating environmental impacts and/or risks
  • Proficiency with Tableau
  • Ability to abstract information requirements from real-world processes to understand the information flows
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas and solutions to a non-technical audience via visualizations, presentations and/or reports
  • Ability to work in a team across different time zones
  • Experience with analytics including with Excel database manipulation
  • Experience conducting QA/QC in spreadsheets or data sets

Desirable skills:

  • Ability to conduct complex impact analysis with limited/imperfect data and use it to influence cross functional business decisions
  • Experience in the environmental sustainability sphere, covering topics such as greenhouse gas inventories, life cycle assessments and sustainability reporting
  • Experience supporting supplier audits, environmental programs, and supplier capacity development
  • Experience driving programs from start to finish with diverse stakeholders using data integrity and efficient data management processes
  • Knowledge of SQL databases and VBA

Summary of role: Anthesis, a rapidly growing global sustainability consultancy, is looking for a Principal Consultant to join the business.  As a Principal Consultant within Sustainable Chemistry you will be advising trade associations and individual clients in their technical strategic planning and response to regulatory developments within Europe. Your technical knowledge and ability to project manage complex projects and multidisciplinary groups as well as provide timely, clear communications will be essential to the success of this role.

Requirements

  • Professional required with at least 5 years’ experience in Regulatory Affairs, Product Stewardship or Product Management in a materials-focused sector.
  • Must have science degree (preferably chemistry) with experience of working with technically complex products and the regulatory environment in which they are sold and used.
  • Direct experience in the chemicals industry or with downstream users of chemicals would be a distinct advantage, especially if this includes dealing with polymers.
  • Ideally, the candidate will have several years of management experience and have led task-driven teams with budgetary accountability.
  • Experience of the consultancy sector would be a further advantage.
  • The candidate should be looking for their next career step to encompass business unit management.

A certain amount of European travel will be required.

Position: 
Senior Consultant

Remuneration range: $75,000-$95,000 dependent on experience

 

Summary of role: As a Senior Consultant within Sustainable Chemistry practice you will engage with clients to provide expert guidance on chemicals management across all parts of the value chain.  In this roll, you will assist clients with compliance activities relating to relevant chemical regulation, but more importantly advise on proactive chemical management strategies, initiatives and tools to help identify and remove chemicals which represent a risk to human health and the environment from supply chains to promote safer more sustainable products in the marketplace.  Successful candidates will possess technical and chemical regulatory skills across a variety of sectors, and have a working knowledge of consumer product regulations/initiatives.

You Responsibilities will include:

  • Client management
  • Management of complex projects which span multidisciplinary groups
  • Assist clients with chemical regulatory /product stewardship activities (I.e. identification of compliance requirements, chemical notification/reporting)
  • Advise clients relating to technical strategic planning and response to regulatory developments, and other market drivers.
  • Internal/external subject matter expert (SME) on US chemical regulation, consumer product regulations/initiatives

Requirements

  • BS in chemistry, environmental health science, engineering, regulatory affairs, or related technical discipline.  Strong chemicals background is a must.
  • Industry or consulting background in US regulatory/product stewardship roles (5-10 years of experience)
  • Knowledge of US chemical regulation and regulatory initiatives, E.g. TSCA,  Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) regulation, CA Safer Consumer Products regulation, and other state level regulations.
  • Knowledge of NGO initiatives like Mind the Store, ZDHC, GreenScreen, HIGG etc. a plus
  • Must be motivated, self-directed and be open to telecommuting.  This position will be home office based.
  • Team oriented, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel for onsite client visits, conferences, corporate meetings etc. (15% or less)

Summary of role: Data analysts provide the data, calculations and analyses which are core to Anthesis. Your work will support the core values of the business which are:

You will be joining the UK part of the Global Analytics Team. The Global Team offers world class expertise in sustainability analytics to support our global consulting business and offerings.
